REDUCE
"Reduction in the use and effects of hazardous chemicals" started in 1996 as a 3 year project under the Leonardo da Vinci (LdV) programme of the Directorate General Education and Culture.

Expand REDUCE
In 1999 a follow up 18 month project was started, called Expand REDUCE (Expand the material and methodologies from the REDUCE project). We expanded to new countries (Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria and Sweden), and new areas (shipping and cleaner production). This time the contract was signed by Arendal Maritime Videregående skole and the Commission of the European Communities.
